🙏 When Faith Is All You Have: Finding My Anchor in Jesus

There are moments in life that bring us to our knees—moments when the darkness feels absolute, and all control slips through our fingers. I know this feeling intimately. There have been times in my own journey when I literally couldn't walk, couldn't move, and could barely hold on to the thread of hope.

In those raw, agonizing moments, everything I thought I could rely on disappeared. It was terrifying, and the fear was almost paralyzing.

But then, an impossible thing happened. Faith, even when it felt as small and fragile as a flickering candle, became my anchor. It was the only thing left when everything else was stripped away.

The first, and hardest, step toward healing wasn't about trying to fight my way back to control. It was the opposite: it was surrendering control to Jesus.

This wasn't a sudden, grand gesture. It was a daily, sometimes hourly, choice to release my grip on "how things should be" and trust the divine plan. I learned that true strength doesn't come from my own willpower, but from letting His strength flow into my weakness.

If you are in a season where you feel broken, paralyzed, or at the very end of your rope, remember this: You don't need a mountain of faith to start. You just need to offer the small measure you have.

Surrender is the first step toward true healing. Let Him be your anchor when you can't hold on to anything else.

What is your small act of surrender today?

Would you like me to suggest a short, reflective prompt you could add to the end of the post to encourage reader comments?
